Open enrollment begins on October 16th and runs through November 3, 2023. Please remember, you must manually select non-tobacco user or you will default to user and not receive the discount.
In accordance with the changes ratified in the 2022 MOC, Florida Bargaining Unit employees on the High Deductible option with an HSA account will receive the higher "seed" contribution of $850 self and $1700 family. This is no longer a company match. Also, please remember, beginning January 1, 2024, if you live within 50 miles of a Center of Excellence facility and require back surgery, knee replacement, or hip replacement surgery, you will be required to utilize the center.
Also, keep in mind, company contributions to your 401k account will be based on your gross wages, so you may want to track them throughout the year and make adjustments to prevent maxing out early and losing market time with company contributions. Cash balance retirement contributions will also be based on gross wages in 2024.
