The Union and the Company have reached a tentative agreement. Attached are the Union and Company proposals that have been negotiated and will be part of the 2025 Memorandum of Changes upon ratification. As you read through the proposals, keep in mind that no contract is perfect, and all proposals are the result of hard work and compromise.

System Council U8 and Duke Energy have agreed to extend the current working agreement through December 12, 2025, so that the Union has time to conduct contract explanation meetings and hold a ratification vote. Attached below is the signed agreement. Thank you, and please continue working safely.

The System Committee and Duke Energy have reached a tentative agreement on a new 3-year contract. More details will be provided as soon as the Committee finishes building the final package for dissemination. The Committee will begin explanation meetings in the very near future, and will supplement these meetings with scheduled TEAMS meetings as well.

System Council U8 and Duke Energy continued to make progress towards a new working agreement over the past couple weeks. Both sides have made tons of movement on several proposals and counterproposals and made clear their intentions and/or lack of interest in others.
