The System Committee and Duke Energy have reached a tentative agreement on a new 3-year contract. More details will be provided as soon as the Committee finishes building the final package for dissemination. The Committee will begin explanation meetings in the very near future, and will supplement these meetings with scheduled TEAMS meetings as well. The ratification vote will take place in early to mid-December and will again be conducted electronically via this website exclusively.

I'd like to personally thank the Union's Negotiating Committee for all the hard work and extra time they spent ensuring you would be provided with the very best package achievable.
